Dear U.S. DEPARTMENT OF PEACE FRIENDS - Advance Notice. One year ago, the idea for a U.S. Department of Peace and Secretary of Peace was voted as one of the top 10 Ideas for Change in America. Hundreds of thousands of people voted in this groundbreaking online contest. As a direct result of the grassroots, one on one help - mass help, this idea landed in 2nd place with over 15,000 votes directly due to helping hands all across Amercia. (i.e. Special Peace Folks and Volunteers :D) I can't believe my eyes, but the contest is being held again. Now more than last year, we need more peace. We need to keep the Department of Peace bill HR-808 visible. So get your fingers in shape, your address books ready and refill your hearts with hope.
